Dem Rep. Joyce Beatty: What Haley Stevens Did Was ‘Disgusting’

EXCERPT:

BEATTY: “Well, obviously, I was very disappointed. It was disgusting. It was very offensive that she would bring souls to the polls, walk into a black church thinking they were naive. Let me tell you, at the time she was doing that, Jim Clyburn was there being supportive. And I was crisscrossing Central Ohio, going into our churches, feeling the excitement because they understand what's at stake. So Haley Stevens let her ego, in my opinion, get in the way.”
