Fox News: Aspiring NYPD Officer and College Hockey Captain Killed in Crash Involving Twice-Removed Mexican National
EXCERPT:
PIRRO: “Ryan O'Shea was a senior at the University of New Haven who dreamed of becoming a New York City police officer after graduating. But that dream was stolen when a Mexican national who repeatedly entered the U.S. illegally allegedly crashed into his car. Connecticut State Police say O'Shea was driving south late October 16th when a Chevy Silverado traveling the opposite direction slammed head-on into his Honda Accord. That crash sent O'Shea's car into another lane where it was struck by a Jeep before moving onto the right shoulder and then was hit by a third vehicle. First responders rushed to the scene where the young man was pronounced dead. The illegal immigrant who allegedly caused that crash was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries as well. The Department of Homeland Security says the suspect was arrested by Border Patrol and deported back in 2013. Posting on social media, quote, 'This was a completely avoidable tragedy.' The suspect was twice deported and had zero standing to be in our nation.”
