Van Jones: Haley Stevens Said El-Sayed Didn’t Invite Her So She Went with Rogers — ‘This Isn’t High School’
EXCERPT:
JONES: "And I think that she did a huge disservice to people in Michigan who had real concerns, is Abdul going to do a good job helping the Jewish voters, will he listen to them? That’s the issue. And rather than her leaving it at that, she makes it about herself. She puts up a video, she says, 'Well, he didn’t invite me, so now I’m going to go with the other guy.' This isn’t high school. This is not a middle school dance. This is this is the most important Senate race. The future of this party is on the line. And you stay in your party, you make your party better. You challenge our candidates to be better, but you don’t then strengthen the other party when the stakes are this high. I think she let down a lot of people. She let down a lot of people."
