TRANSCRIPT:

KARL (voice over): "Among some black voters here, there is still bitterness about 2024 when they believe El-Sayed and other Arab Americans didn’t do enough to support Kamala Harris. Mary Waters, a Democratic member of the Detroit City Council, has pointedly not endorsed El-Sayed."

WATERS: "So some Detroiters have said, 'Listen, if Kamala Harris walked down the street holding his hand, I still would not vote for him.' Now, will she and President Obama be able to, you know, sway a few Detroiters? Sure. You know, and then -- "

KARL: "But not you?"

WATERS: "I can think for myself."
