Sen. Sullivan on Peltola’s Alleged Ballot Scheme: Her Aides Made Fun of Alaskans Saying, ‘We‘re Going To Be Able to Dupe Them’
RUSH EXCERPT:
SULLIVAN: "Well, look, I‘ll let the lawyers, uh, figure that out. What I am doing is continuing to campaign hard and get out the truth and let alaskans know why this is such an important election. But remember, going back to the scheme, the thing that is so shocking about this is how much she peltola and her staff and the Schumer staff in the dscc senior leaders treat alaskans with disdain. So whether or not this is legal or not, and I think, you know, there‘s some, uh, good arguments on both sides. You know, there‘s this anti klu klux klan statute. People should take a look at. Certainly that would maybe make this about not being legal at all. But the key thing I‘m focused on is looking at peltola and her team and the Democrats in D.C. and how they treat alaskans with disdain. Think about it, Jake. Their first order of business, like I said, is how can we trick people in Alaska so they can throw the vote in a. in a way that‘s certainly deceitful, if not illegal, towards peltola. And secondly, in The New York Times article, you see the peltola aides actually making fun of alaskans saying, oh, we‘re going to be able to dupe them. This is treating the people of my state with utter disrespect and disdain. And I don‘t think it‘s worthy of a U.S. senator or a U.S. Senate candidate."
