David Becker: ‘Everyone Will Fall Back on Sanity and Rationality’ Once Alaska’s Senate Votes Are Counted
‘There’s really remote voting all over Alaska, it takes a long time to get all those ballots in’
RUSH EXCERPT:
BECKER: “I don’t know if we should be worried about the Republican governor. Remember the Republican governor and the lieutenant governor who runs elections in Alaska? The lieutenant governor is the office that oversees elections, have vigorously opposed the DoJ’s lawsuit. That initial lawsuit that was filed to try to interfere with certification. I expect that this is a very difficult situation for him. I expect that once the votes come in and we see who actually won, senator sullivan could win reelection, Mary Paul tola could could beat him in the election. Once we see those votes counts coming in, I suspect that everyone will fall back on sanity and rationality and recognize the true winner.”
