Pete Buttigieg: ‘The Prices We’re Paying at the Pump’ and ‘The Cost of Health Care’ Are Connected to Corruption in Washington

‘People out there are seeing is a relationship between the corruption and the pain that they’re feeling every day’

RUSH EXCERPT:

BUTTIGIEG: “Well, I think what people out there are seeing is a relationship between the corruption and the pain that they’re feeling every day. You ask yourself, how can somebody vote to cut my health care and expect to keep their job? How can somebody campaign on never letting a president start a foolish war and then wind up applauding that war? How do these things happen? And it turns out that the prices were paying at the pump, the cost of health care right now, the fact that just even the basic policies Americans do agree on can’t get done is directly connected to the atmosphere of corruption in Washington, D.C. Right now, which of course revolves around the specific atmosphere of corruption in the Trump Administration. So these things are connected.”
