MCDONALD: “All told, over roughly the past 115 days, 14 fraud defendants in Minnesota have been sentenced to a combined total of 988 months in prison. That is over 82 years of prison time for fraud crimes in this state, and that does not count the 40-year sentence imposed for a Feeding Our Future’s defendant earlier this year. Ladies and gentlemen, that is the new normal and fraudsters here should know it.”
