Kellyanne Conway: Alaska Decoy Candidate ‘Is a Blockbuster Scandal for the Democratic Party’

EXCERPT:

CONWAY: “You know, this is a blockbuster scandal for the Democratic Party, and it is illicit and untoward and untenable, even if it’s not a crime, and there may be crimes. You have to follow the moneym like anything else in politics and life. If you follow the money and people who were paid salaries from Peltola’s campaign and benefits are traveling, and they're traveling to Washington, D.C., using a phone, interstate commerce, to try to trick the voters, we have some reporting, Bill, through Fox News that there was a focus group being conducted to see how confused Alaska voters would be by another Dan Sullivan. You know who we need to hear from? Dan Sullivan, the guy who has made no effort to be a candidate whatsoever, hasn’t even done the bare minimum that you would do as an active, serious candidate who wants to be the next senator from Alaska. So I want to hear from him as well. And look, the people, Bill, who spent 2 1/2 years in Maine searching for Russia collusion ought to give a couple of weeks to the state of Alaska to make sure that the intent here was not to trick the voters. And by the way, again, Peltola is saying, 'I didn’t know anything.' There is something in the law called 'actual knowledge' that she made the call and she steered and engineered this ruse to trick Alaska voters, and there's something called 'constructive knowledge.' Were you in a position, given who you are and who you have hired, to imply to know constructively what was happening around you?”
