Steve Rattner Recalls 2016 Election Night Needle Showing Clinton Favored Over Trump

RATTNER: "I remember being at an event at The New York Times center on election night in 2016, and they had this needle showing the probability of Trump versus Clinton and so forth, and it was, I don’t know, 70%, 80% certain that the Democrat was going to win. And I walked out of there and I ran into, of all people, Anthony Scaramucci, and I said, 'Too bad you guys are going to lose.' And he said, 'Yeah, too bad we're going to lose.' So this was an 8 o'clock at night, and then the needle obviously swung back."
