Mark Kelly: Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump Are Firing People Because They Don’t See Them as ‘Sufficiently Loyal’
RUSH EXCERPT:
KELLY: “He’s the j5 on the joint chiefs. It’s you know, these generals have incredibly important positions in regard to our national security and keeping us safe. And Pete Hegseth and, you know, Donald Trump are just firing people because they don’t see them as sufficiently loyal or in many cases because they’re women or they’re African Americans, and they’re purging a good portion of a generation of leadership. Worse than that is there are folks behind them that are coming up, maybe mid mid-grade officers that look at the U.S. Military now as maybe it’s not a place for them where they’re not valued and their experience, their professionalism. So this is a has a multigenerational impact. It’s going to be take some hard work to recover from it. And by the way, the president doesn’t even know, you know, who this person is. And he’s just trying to make it up. And, you know, claims that he’s saying that she when brett Sylvia is a man who has served decades in the armed services, it’s almost comical that when Donald Trump doesn’t know something, he just starts to make things up. That’s the president of the United States. He should know better.”
