Ari Fleischer: I Don’t Know That the Senate Is Going to Seat Mary Peltola If She Wins by a Tight Margin

EXCERPT:

FLEISCHER: “And if Mary Peltola wins, and especially if she wins by a small margin, and Dan Sullivan’s votes could have made the difference, Decoy Dan, I don’t know that the Senate is going to seat her. There is so much corruption and so much wrongdoing —“

FAULKNER: “Can you do that?”

FLEISCHER: “The Congress decides who the ultimate say is on who the members are. Members of Congress decide if you could be seated in that chamber. It’s happened in the House. I don’t know if it’s ever happened in the Senate, where they refused to seat somebody.”
