John E. Sununu Touts Passed Legislations: I Even Wrote Bipartisan Legislation with Hillary Clinton
TRANSCRIPT:
SUNUNU: "Sure. Well, look, it's worth emphasizing, though, that Chris has been working on that for eight years. He hasn’t done it. He’s been sitting on the Transportation Committee for eight years. New Hampshire is dead last in highway funding in New England. Okay? He just hasn’t gotten the job done. When I was in Congress, I wrote and passed the law that banned internet taxes. I wrote and passed legislation that added historic protection to the White Mountain National Forest. I wrote and passed legislation to protect the Lamprey River. I even wrote bipartisan legislation with Hillary Clinton to improve auto safety and protect kids. That’s in addition to my stand and my success demanding constitutional protections under the Patriot Act. So I've not just talked about what I want to do, I've taken a stand and won on issues really important to New Hampshire and to the country."
