John Sununu Calls out Chris Pappas for His Lies About Private Sector Experience, ‘They’re Just Wrong’
TRANSCRIPT:
SUNUNU: "I've never lobbied on any issue for any company with any member of Congress, ever. I’ve never worked for big pharma. He was caught in that lie in the debate up in Conway. Said, 'Oh, you work for big pharma.' I said, 'What’s the company?' There’s no company because I’ve never done it. He used to tell people that I made $35 million, now tonight he finally corrected that and said, 'Well, I might have assets worth $35 million.' That’s a financial disclosure that has a range of asset values. If you add up the highest possible value, you get 35 million. Goodness knows I’m not worth $35 million. And it just goes to show that Chris Pappas doesn’t know the difference between income and assets. He can’t read a financial disclosure. And I blame that on the time he spent at Harvard. Look, so those attacks about my private sector experience are just wrong."
