Jason Johnson: ‘Culturally, Racially and Attitudinally,’ Vivek Ramaswamy Is Not Ohio

‘And so this is an example of Donald Trump putting his finger on the scale, again, pushing for a candidate in the primary that he wanted, and it’s likely to result in a loss’

EXCERPT:

JOHNSON: “Trump wanted to clear the field. Trump wanted another one of his little acolytes there. Vivek Ramaswamy is not Ohio. Yes, he can claim Cincinnati. But culturally, racially and attitudinally, he's not Ohio. And this is just another example of it. And here's the thing. He was already in trouble, right? You can't hit a baseball. You don't know who the OSU coach is. You can't pick up a kid. There were already people who were ready to push him out. And here's the thing about Mike DeWine's office. You've seen comments from people in his office saying this is terrible, et cetera, et cetera. They didn't want him either. And so this is an example of Donald Trump putting his finger on the scale again, pushing for a candidate in the primary that he wanted.”
