Trump Touts New Investments from Saronic and Toyota Creating Thousands of Jobs: ‘No Tariffs, No Charge’

TRANSCRIPT:

TRUMP: “$6.5 billion, and billions and billions more in the country. Saronic is building a $3.2 billion shipyard. You’re going to create 10,000 jobs right here. And Toyota is investing $3.6 billion to move production from Mexico to Texas. That’s a little switch. You know why? Because I told everybody, you can’t build your cars in Mexico and Canada and send them back in. No tariffs, no charge. Take away our job, take away our companies, take away our wealth. Not happening.”
