Mara Gay: ‘Trump Is Making Money Off the American People’

EXCERPT:

GAY: "I mean, you know, I’ve actually begun to wonder, too, if it’s not just that that Trump is is rich, it’s that he’s making money off the American people. And when you go out and you talk to voters, they actually understand this. Also not helping, his pal Elon Musk, certainly not helping in the Texas race, where you can see James Talarico, you know, pushing hard to connect the two, which isn’t difficult because of his footprint in that state. This is increasingly becoming a contest of the haves and have nots. And so it doesn’t really seem to matter. And, you know, the Republicans are just throwing things at the wall at this point. And Trump is also not helping. I mean, also, I don’t even know who can afford the Cheesecake Factory anymore."
