RHODES: “No. And I think the most potent and powerful thing is how those two issues, you know, the state of the economy and prices and corruption are linked in voters’ minds, as they should be, because the reason that the economy is in the state it’s in, the reason that we’re doing nothing about higher prices, is because Donald Trump is just approaching this job as a grift, as a way to enrich himself. So, when you are enriching yourself and your cronies to the tune of billions and billions of dollars, you’re not doing the things that are going to lower prices for people across the country who are hurting. And people just understand that intuitively because it is so in their face.”
