Turley: Ilhan Omar Has Done ‘Very Little’ to Put These Longstanding Allegations of Immigration Fraud to Rest

‘I think it is getting more serious’

EXCERPT:

TURLEY: “No, Representative Omar is saying that she’s not using a fake name and that she’s innocent. She has a right to argue that, a right to prove it. We’ll see. What troubles me is that she’s done very little to put these long-standing allegations to rest. She hasn’t, you know, put forward evidence that she clearly must have to rebut some of this. She does interviews that avoid all of the questions that many of us would likely ask. And so, it’s a very curious position for her to be in, but she has a right to defend herself. This is going to move forward. I think it is getting more serious. I knew evidence is coming out. Everything from postings on social media using the earlier name for her father that she allegedly removed. All of those things are going to have to be explained. Unfortunately, the media doesn’t seem to want to hear those explanations.”
