STEVENS: “So, I think this is an issue that’s changing. I used to have a client that says, be for the future, it’s going to happen anyway. And I think that that’s really the lesson here. You have to get out in front of this and be for it. And look, this goes to why, you know, Republicans really aren’t a governing party anymore. And my big plea to Democrats is when they win, and I think they will win. I think they’re going to win big. They can’t operate as if they have a good faith partner in the Republican Party, because they just don’t anymore. Face reality and do what’s best for the country.”
