Dem Strategist: If El-Sayed Gets Elected, We Have to Make Sure We Hold Him Accountable So He Doesn’t Go Way to the Left
EXCERPT:
ARISTIMUNO: “Absolutely, Harris. Look, I have my concerns with El-Sayed. I didn’t think, you know, he was — he certainly wasn’t my favorite. And anybody that’s related to DSA one way or another, they’re not my favorite type of candidates. But this is who Michigan voted for and, as Democrats, we should respect that and we should honor that. I think El-Sayed is going to do well in almost seven days. I think he wins. But this is the most important thing. I would say this to my moderate Democrats that are listening, watching the show. If El-Sayed gets elected, we have to make sure that we hold them accountable, so he does not go way to the left. We’ll bring him, you know, more to the center. That’s what we got to do as center Democrats.”
