Ky. Congressional Candidate: I’m Advocating Against Super PAC Money in Politics, ‘I Never Asked’ for Reid Hoffman’s Donation

EXCERPT:

DEMBO: “I don’t know the guy. I’ve never talked to him. I’ve never asked for this donation. I — and so, what I would say is, for anyone listening, Super PACs and big money in politics is part of the problem. It’s why we haven’t been able to have action on so many important things like healthcare reform, like immigration reform, like things that people have wanted Congress to do for decades and we haven’t been able to. And so, what I’D say to anyone is, let’s get rid of this. We need the money out of politics. As a former prosecutor, it offends me and my sense of values. And I know from talking to Central Kentuckians, it offends them as well.”
