El-Sayed: We Must ‘Address the Power of Corporations ... Every Worker Deserves a Union’

EXCERPT:

EL-SAYED: “Your phone is probably made by one of two manufacturers, Samsung or Apple. And you’re probably getting carrier service from one of three corporations, AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile. That’s just the thing that all of us have. So, at the end of the day, I believe in capitalism and I want capitalism to work. So, the way you address our rising prices and our stagnating wages is to address the power of a few corporations to raise our prices and address our stagnating wages. And then, given that we are in the house that labor built, every worker deserves a union in every [inaudible] life.”
