Ohio Gov. Candidate Amy Acton: ‘Decency Is on the Ballot in This Election’
‘I’m fighting against a guy who thinks Medicaid and Medicare are mistakes and wants to completely dismantle it’
EXCERPT:
ACTON: “Everyone is exhausted of living this way. They're tired of the hate and the chaos and vitriol. They want public servants again who actually solve problems instead of making them. And kindness is not weakness. You know, I'm a very scrappy kid from Youngstown. I've seen a thing or two, and I'm up for this fight. That's why you see us fighting so hard against somebody who's just out for himself. But kindness is a fierce commitment to justice and seeing the humanity in one another. And I can tell you that decency is on the ballot in this election.”
