Mike Rogers Says He’s Having Trouble with Earpiece When Asked if a Vote for Him Is a Vote for Trump’s Agenda
EXCERPT:
ROGERS: "I’m — I’m apologizing, I’m having some difficulty in my earpiece, but I — is a vote for you? I’m not sure. I’d say what a vote for me is, it’s a great day for the state of Michigan. We’ve lived under all the policies that the Democrats have just talked about, even on your show, about bringing down prices. For the last eight years, we’ve had Democrats control our state , both of the U.S. Senate seats and Lansing, Michigan. We have the highest utility rates in the Midwest, we have the highest auto insurance rates in the country. We have — our education has gone down all the way to 46th in the country, two-thirds of our fourth graders can’t read in the fourth-grade level. And if you can’t read in the fourth-grade level, you have a 70% chance of going to prison or being on welfare. So I present the solutions for all of that. And if you’re going to have the President of the United States of — of one party for the next two years, why not send somebody back that can work with the state -- or excuse me, work with the president, to get some of these things fixed?”
