Timothy Snyder on ‘No Kings’ Protests: ‘Every Rally Has Been Important’ as Demonstrations Give People Confidence

RUSH EXCERPT:

SNYDER: "Well, I think it’s really important that there have been these big movements. I think it’s really I think every rally, not just these, but every rally has been important because it teaches people that it’s normal to be upset. It teaches people that you’re the possibility for action includes the vote, but it’s also greater than the vote. It teaches people that you not only have the power to change things at the, at the, at the ballot box, but you also have the power to defend your vote afterwards if necessary. And it gives people confidence.”
