RUSH EXCERPT:
ISAACMAN: "To be clear, the people around the world have waited for more than a half century for America’s grand return to the moon Thanks to President Trump his national space policy the resources from the Working Family Tax Cut Act and strong bipartisan support we just took another step in the direction the direction towards the moon Artemis III we provide an update today on the status of all the hardware. I mean you’re just a handful of months away after the Artemis II mission and you’ve practically got the rocket together here in the Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center The teams have been working around the clock to launch in 2027 to bring the Orion spacecraft and the two landers together on that 14-day mission in low Earth orbit test out the interoperability of the spacecraft when you’re really close to home in advance of 28 when we’ll send those astronauts and the lander to the moon to walk on the moon and, and this is very akin Artemis III, you want to think about it it’s very akin to Apollo 9 where we did a similar test in low Earth orbit in advance of Apollo 10 and 11 where we went to the moon It’s the same thing Artemis III. In preparation for 2028 we land on the moon"
