Mike Rogers on Senate Race: People Are Worried About Inflation, Gasoline Prices, and Have Concluded That the War Will Come to an End

‘’I’ve called for the president to wrap it up, it’s time’

RUSH EXCERPT:
ROGERS: "If you talk over the last 18 months people are certainly worried about inflation, gasoline prices, diesel prices, all of that matters and makes everything a little more expensive. People have come to the conclusion that the war will come to an end. I’ve called for the president to wrap it up. It’s time. We took care of the nuclear program. The army, navy, and air force has been diminished so they can’t hurt their neighbors. Time to go back to the containment strategy of Iran. Once that happens, the real question is, what happens next? And so the next senator is either going to be for lower prices, lower utility prices, lower gasoline prices, American energy, or, as my opponent would like to do, he has a new energy tax that would raise your utility rated $2 per house, 20 cents per gallon for gasoline. Raise taxes again for tips, for overtime, for Social Security. Big tax cut, and, of course, he wants to take away your private health insurance so when you start talking to people about, the war is going to come to an end. We’re pretty fired up."
