Abdul El-Sayed Says Government-Run Healthcare Would Lower Costs

EL-SAYED: “If I told you you could pay less and get durable health care that wouldn't leave you if you lost your job, wouldn't leave you if you turned 26, wouldn't leave you if you got a job, lost a job, wouldn't leave you if you got married, got divorced, wouldn't leave you if you turned 65, it'd just be there for you, I think the vast majority of the American public would be like, yeah, that's a trade I'm willing to make. And when I tell you that we can do that, and we can do that for 25 percent less cost than we pay right now off the top, and we can reduce the speed at which our health care gets more expensive, that's a good deal.”
