Tom Suozzi: ‘There’s Just a Lot More Enthusiasm from Democrats Right Now’

EXCERPT:

SUOZZI: "I think that, you know, you’ve been talking about it this morning, there’s just a lot more enthusiasm from Democrats right now. I mean, that’s what happens in every midterm race. In addition, you know, they threw the kitchen sink at me. I mean Trump put in $11 million, Johnson came out there two times. Vance came out there did an official event, and instead of talking about what he was supposed to talk about, he talked about how rotten I am and said I’m the worst congressman in the United States of America."
LEMIRE: "Congratulations."
SUOZZI: "Yeah. So I’m feeling relieved that they’ve decided to force their attention elsewhere, but we have to be thinking about what’s going to happen when the Democrats do win the majority and what we’re going to do going forward."
