Sen. Roger Marshall: ‘My Opponent Doesn’t Want Us to Even Drive Trucks Let Alone Eat Beef’

EXCERPT:

MARSHALL: “If my opponent were elected, he gives control to Chuck Schumer and their Green New Deal. My opponent says he endorses the Green New Deal as well. Look, we haven’t built a refinery since 1978 in this country. We’re producing more oil than ever, but we have — but we peaked out the refining capacity. So we’re dependent upon Russian diesel where they’re refining this. That’s why my opponent doesn’t understand the difference between gasoline and diesel. It’s two different issues going on. But their policies strangle us. Again, the average price of gas under President Trump is still less than the average price under Joe Biden. The Democrats want these high prices. They want us — they — my friend doesn’t want — or my opponent doesn’t want us to even drive trucks, let alone eat beef. That’s who this guy is.”
