Abdul El-Sayed Denies Any Association with the Muslim Brotherhood and Other Organizations: ‘It Doesn’t Make Any Sense’
EXCERPT:
EL-SAYED: "Let's actually just talk about this. Let’s talk about this. He keeps raising this question about this association with an organization I’ve never been apart of because my mom was a nurse in Missouri? It doesn’t make any sense and it’s actually really quite beneath you, Mike. It's really quite beneath you."
ROGERS: "It's not beneath — "
EL-SAYED: "To call into question my loyalty to the Constitution — I'm talking. I’m talking."
ROGERS: "Own up to it. Yeah."
EL-SAYED: "Can I have a few more seconds?"
MODERATOR: "Yes, go ahead."
EL-SAYED: "Thank you. To bring into question my commitment to the Constitution is really beneath you. I am proud of America, I’m proud to be an American, I’m proud of our Constitution that guarantees all of us the right to pray as we choose to pray. And the question that you would ask about, I think is actually really quite shameful as somebody who’s actually served under that Constitution. It's a shame. Shameful."
