ALEXANDER: “Madam Governor, I appreciate your being here. One top conservative says, October is known for discussing political ads, but we cannot be indifferent or tolerant. This must be condemned. What do you make of this ad?”
GRISHAM: “It's despicable. It is the worst thing I've seen in my political career, and it's just these new lows, when you think you can't get any lower. These debates, and I know we all think about October as the October Surprise month, when candidates who are a bit desperate about winning their elections will go over the top, but this should be a debate about ideas.
