Michael Whatley: N.C. Has an ‘Opportunity to Go Down the Road of Commonsense’ and American Strength or the Road with Cooper

‘He vetoed six different tax cuts when he was governor’

EXCERPT:

WHATLEY: "Well, North Carolina certainly has a big choice in front of us. This election is really a fork in a road, and we have an opportunity as a state to go down the road of commonsense, to go down the road of American strength, to go down a road of a North Carolina that is going to be strong, or we have the chance to go down the road with Roy Cooper.
(Audience boos)
You know, Roy Cooper raised your taxes when he was in the legislature. He vetoed six different tax cuts when he was governor. He said that he would have voted against the One Big Beautiful Bill, the working family tax cut act. That bill, signed by this great president here, saved the average North Carolina family $5,700 on April 15. And Roy Cooper wants that $5,700 to give it to bureaucrats in Washington."
