Larry Kudlow: Maybe We Are All Gingrich Republicans Now

‘It’s never too late to turn this story around’

EXCERPT:

KUDLOW: “You know, I worked for Reagan years ago, in his first term, he was a supply-sider, a tax cutter, a deregulator. He ran against the swamp in D.C. Then, decades later, I worked for Donald Trump, who was a tax cutter, a deregulator, and was against the swamp in D.C. Does that make me a traditional Republican, a Reagan Republican, a Trump Republican? How about I’m a free enterprise, pro-growth conservative who believes in traditional American values? Now, this election strikes me as too important to hinge on semantics. What we really want, apart from these unhelpful labels is the kind of Newt Gingrich optimism, as he is now writing about in America’s Golden Age, his new book, the triumph of free enterprise, the coming era of limitless possibilities, and how economic growth will surge while inflation falls and advanced technology prevails. You know, I was there outside Atlanta when Newt won back in 1994, so maybe we’re all Gingrich Republicans right now.”
