Jon Ossoff: ‘There Is No Such Thing as a Landslide Victory in Georgia’

RUSH EXCERPT:

OSSOFF: “Look, I think that our future has to be rooted in victory and growth in the south. Remember that when Raphael and I were running in 2020, most folks didn’t think we had a chance. If you think back to those 2020 Senate races, what Raphael and I were told was, you know, maybe, maybe if we win in in Maine and Iowa and Montana and North Carolina and all these other states that maybe we get lucky enough to win in Georgia, we wound up not prevailing in those other states, but winning in Georgia because of the sustained investment that so many have made for so many years in organizing and party building in Georgia. And what worries me right now is complacency about this race in Georgia, overconfidence about this race in Georgia. There’s no such thing as a landslide victory in the state of Georgia. This remains the crucial battleground state. These Republican outside groups have spent tens of millions of dollars attacking me. We’ve got to win this race. We’ve got to stay focused and take nothing for granted. Which is, again, why I’m asking folks to go to elect John.com to make sure that my team and I have the resources to see this through.”
