Elissa Slotkin: Accusations of Weaponizing the Gov’t Is Not My First Rodeo — It’s ‘Par for the Course for the President’

‘The truth is, if you commit a criminal act, if you use taxpayer dollars in a way that violates the law, you should be held accountable no matter who you are’

RUSH EXCERPT

SLOTKIN: “Well, unfortunately, it‘s not my first rodeo. I‘ve seen the president do this as recently as last week, and certainly less than a year ago, tried to criminally indict me for a 92nd video and calling for my hanging. So, um, this is sort of par for the course for the president and for the folks around him. The truth is, if you commit a criminal act, if you use taxpayer dollars in a way that violates the law, you should be held accountable no matter who you are. That was the point I was making. And they‘ve sort of manufactured outrage about it because they want to talk about anything but what‘s going on right now in places like Kansas or Michigan. And, um, but it‘s a, it‘s a statement on how dark our politics has become.”
