HAMILTON: “Yeah, well, I‘m telling them, if the Democrats do take over the Senate, wouldn‘t it be better to have a moderate Democrat in there from Kansas fighting for Kansans? And if there was — if I was fighting on the Democratic side and our other senator, Jerry Moran, was fighting on the Republican side for Kansas, that‘s going to be far better than if you have Jerry Moran and Roger Marshall on the Republican side and nobody on the Democratic side. And most of the time they shake their heads and go, you know, that makes a lot of sense. Absolutely. So, I‘m going to fight for Republicans, independents, and Democrats in Kansas. And I will be an independent voice here. I‘m going to be a Democrat, but an independent-minded Democrat who wants to work across the aisle.”
