Concha: No Reason to Think That Trump Admin’s Targeting of Ilhan Omar Is Some Sort of ‘Partisan Witch Hunt’

CONCHA: “In this case, I mean, can we just look at the facts here instead of looking at what religion Omar belongs to or what party she belongs to, and did she indeed commit some sort of immigration fraud? And if there is a strong case here — and Tom Homan, who worked under Obama, by the way, so there’s no reason to think that he’s just doing this along some sort of partisan witch hunt, he’s got tremendous credibility, if he says they’re building a strong case, then if you’re Ilhan Omar, you better start paying attention real fast and stop playing the victim, because if Homan’s saying that, there’s probably a lot more smoke there and probably some fire as well. But let’s see when all the facts come out and when the investigation is complete, but she seems to be in some real trouble right now.”
