Ashley Allison to Scott Jennings: The Difference Between You and Me Is You Don’t Stand up Against Islamophobia

EXCERPT:

ALLISON: "I admonish people who are anti-Semitic. I don‘t have to stand up for AIPAC because AIPAC is an organization that has beliefs, just like I admonish people who are Islamophobic. I think — and I think there are some things that happen in the Democratic Party that do make — that are anti-Semitic. And when they happen, I stand up for them. But what I don‘t see you doing right now is standing up against Islamophobic. And that is the -- that is the difference between you, Scott, and me.
JENNINGS: "Well, I don‘t — I don‘t I don‘t agree that the attacks on Abdul El-Sayed's record are Islamophobic."
ALLISON: "I know you don‘t, which is part of the problem."
JENNINGS: "But I can tell you for certain that everything that‘s been said about AIPAC and Jewish American engagement in this election is absolutely anti-Semitic."
ALLISON: "That is incorrect."
