Scott Jennings on Trump’s Endorsement to Netanyahu: ‘They Have a Long History’

TRANSCRIPT:

JENNINGS: "Because I do think it‘s a legitimate debate about, you know, whether and how much we should be involved in other country's domestic politics. Now, obviously, they have a very close relationship. They‘re engaged in this endeavor together right now against Iran, and they have a long history. And so I understand why the president did it. But that‘s a fair debating point about the level of involvement any United States political leader should have in the, you know, in the domestic politics of another country. I don‘t know what‘s going to happen in Israel. I assume President Trump engaged in this because it‘s his friend and he thinks his endorsement will make a positive impact on the electorate there. But it's an interesting debate."
