David Axelrod Blames Netanyahu’s ‘Negligence’ that Led to Oct. 7th Massacre

JENNINGS: "Unless you can lay the blame on attackers -- "
AXELROD: "Wait a second. I‘ve heard all of this before."
JENNINGS: "Yeah, apologize for the attackers."
AXELROD: "We actually don‘t know if he can be blamed because he won‘t allow the — what would be customary in Israel, for an official review of the events leading up to this. That‘s one of the issues in the campaign. So, yeah, I don‘t know that he can‘t be blamed."
JENNINGS: "But who attacked who?"
TODD: "That's an issue in the election."
AXELROD: "It‘s not fine. If he was negligent and that led to a massacre of Jewish citizens because the defenses weren’t there — "
JENNINGS: "Who did the massacring, Ax? Can you not just state that?"
