GOP Rep. Van Duyne: I Don’t Even Know How Ilhan Omar Was Able to Run for Congress

EXCERPT:

VAN DUYNE: “Well, that’s — it’s a great question. I mean, obviously, in Congress, you have rules and regulations, USCIS is one, that you have to make sure that you’re a citizen to be able to run. I don’t even know how this woman was able to run if she was not a citizen. So what kind of fraud was committed, if any? I mean, right now, they’re still investigating it. But you know, it’s obvious she had her office change her birth date. Now, was it — was the birth date wrong? She actually changed it to correct, you know, innocent until proven guilty. But it does seem suspect that all of a sudden, when she gets to be in office, she changes her birth date.”
