SCARBOROUGH: “I mean, come on. I mean, let’s just look at all this. I mean, at least Mike Johnson didn’t talk about sexuality, Willie. I mean, he lied. He just lied. He couldn’t even do the — what the Bowie vice president did. The eyelining Bowie vice president did. He just lied and said, it’s not Republican issues. It is the war.”
GEIST: “That’s a choice.”
SCARBOROUGH: “And it is tariffs.”
GEIST: “Yeah.”
SCARBOROUGH: “And that has driven up the prices of just about everything. And by the way, Donald Trump had warnings from every economist. He had warnings from people at the Fed. Jay Powell tried to tell him tariffs are inflationary and you know they’re inflationary. So Donald Trump tries to get him arrested. But tariffs are inflationary. The war is inflationary. And so he’s lying and said, we don’t have anything to do with this. Americans just aren’t that dumb.”
GEIST: “No, they’re not that dumb.”
