Scott Jennings Asks if Kimberly Guilfoyle’s Accuser Committed Extortion Against the White House
‘Is that extortion in the legal sense?’
EXCERPT:
JENNINGS: “There‘s something about the allegations from Deters -- that‘s the person she was in contact with — that have been a little unsettling to me. And I don‘t know if there are any attorneys here tonight, but he has been saying that he has been emailing the White House chief of staff, saying, 'If you don‘t take these actions that I demand of you, I‘m going to enact retribution, political retribution, by releasing this information.'"
PORTER: "That‘s against the law."
JENNINGS: "So that‘s my question. I don‘t know the answer to this, but is that extortion in the legal sense? Because it sounds like it to me, but I‘m a layperson. It‘s very unsettling."
