Speaker Johnson Impersonates Pres. Trump While Campaigning for Texas Republicans: ‘Mike, Don’t You Think that Was a Great Idea?’

EXCERPT:

JOHNSON: “My friends, this is not your father’s Democrat Party. You heard it earlier. Now, I’m so proud of our first ever midterm convention we had in Dallas, Texas, a month ago. Yeah, OK? Right? Never happened before. It was the president’s idea. ‘Mike, don’t you think that was a great idea?’ Yes, Sir, it was a great idea. It was awesome. Exactly what we hoped. There were some great speeches on that stage, including the president’s. But if you did not see Bobby Kennedy’s speech at the Republican convention, you should watch that tonight, OK?”
