RASKIN: "So we view this as a responsibility that belongs to every committee and every member of Congress, precisely for the reason you say, which is, this is just an overwhelming mountain of corruption and authoritarianism that we face. And at the same time that we’re moving forward to try to restore health care to our people, to restore those Medicaid cuts, Affordable Care Act credits that have been cut, all of the positive agenda we have to do at the same time that we are countering, investigating, exposing, and hoping to shut down the corruption which now pervades the entire federal government. It has just become a coin-operated system at this point."
