NIXON: “I got y’all back. I want to abolish ICE and make sure we are rerouting and redirecting those funds. Redirecting those funds to make sure we’re modernizing the immigration system, because immigrants are welcome here, baby. Because this country was founded by, you know, founded and built on by — build upon by, you know, indigenous people and immigrants, whether they came here willingly or they were forced, like my ancestors. And so, immigrants are welcome here. But I need y’all to, you know, do what y’all need to do to get your girl up there to Washington, D.C., okay?”
