Brit Hume Says He Was ‘Concerned’ that ABC News and Rest of News Outlets Were Biased to the Left — Fox ‘Was Determined Not to Be’

EXCERPT:

HUME: "I had, for years, been concerned that the ABC News and all the rest of the news organizations were biased to the left. And FOX was a place which was determined not to be. The first big opportunity we had to be different was after 9/11. There was a lot of hand-wringing in the mainstream media about how did we cause this, why did our foreign policy trigger this hatred of us and so on. And I thought it was ridiculous and that most Americans would recoil from that idea, that we were somehow responsible for this brutal attack, this savage terrorist attack that killed so many people. It was a horrible event. And so we covered it with a somewhat different emphasis than our competitors. I think it put us on a lot of people’s radar that might not have seen us before."
