Scott Jennings: For Abdul El-Sayed, Terrorism Can Be Rationalized ‘if You Look Through the Lens of the Oppressed and the Oppressor’

‘And it‘s antithetical to the American system’

TRANSCRIPT:

JENNINGS: "Immediately, his instinct was then to give one. It‘s what Mamdani did on October the 7th, a couple of lines about Israel and three paragraphs about how terrible the Jews are. The implication is, is that all of this terrorism, all of this violence and all of this fear and intimidation can be rationalized if you look at it through the lens of the oppressed and the oppressor, which is, I think, how El-Sayed sees the world. And it‘s antithetical to the American system. That‘s the Republican argument."
